"When my boat sank, I was told that "State Farm is notorious for denying claims" and "good luck". Our boat went down on a Saturday night and I was in a panic that my claim would be denied. I called the generic weekend phone number and was instructed (by Jose from State Farm) on my boat owner responsibility for making sure I did my part to "mitigate damage." I called Marcie on Monday morning literally crying. She shared in my sorrow, assured me that my claim would be approved, and walked me through each step of what would happen next. I was reimbursed via ACH deposit THE EXACT SAME DAY for the $4500 recovery bill I paid TowBoatUS over the weekend. Even though the claims adjuster was based out of Atlanta, Marcie and her team called or texted me almost every day to make sure I was satisfied with how I was being treated by the claims team. My boat was deemed a total loss within 24 hours. It took less than 12 hours from the moment I accepted a text message of my "claim payment" to "funds available" in my bank account. One week after my boat sank, her replacement was sitting in my yard. One week!
It was a completely heartbreaking experience for me. But, having this team show sympathy, compassion, and zero hassle made for the best possible outcome. I couldn't imagine going through that again with any other agent by my side."
